For Credit or Not for Credit, that is the Question.
You do not always need to receive credit to participate in an internship. Sometimes you can find an internship opportunity where you can learn about a field without taking a course at the same time. Use these opportunities to build your skills and your resume.
Your internship opportunity might not require that you register for college credit while you participate.Be sure you ask if credit is required or optional.
If your internship opportunity requires that you co-register for a course to receive university credit while interning, consider all of your options:
